Can I change my order after confirming?

Yes. Pending availability, you are welcome to make small changes to your order as your event approaches and your guest count is confirmed. We prefer to have all changes two weeks prior to the event. All items must be confirmed prior to loading and/or delivery, or additional fees may apply.

Are permits required for my event?

Most towns require a permit to install a tent. Requirements vary by town, as well as installation details (i.e. size of tent, number of guests, sidewalls, etc.). Additional permits may be required if you have heaters, generators, or other special equipment. Atent for Rent can obtain permits for added fees.

Does someone need to be on-site at the time of installation?

Ideally, yes. If no one is able to be there, we ask that you clearly mark out the area where you would like the tent to go and/or provide a diagram for our installers. Furniture will be left folded and stacked under the tent. If your set up includes anything that requires specific placement, such as a dance floor, staging or furniture set up, a diagram must be provided regardless if anyone will be on site or not.

Can I add sidewalls to the tent based on weather conditions?

Yes, all of our tents can have sidewalls added for an additional cost. We suggest monitoring the weather the week ahead of your event and making any changes prior to the delivery date. Any equipment added after the initial delivery may be subject to added delivery fees.

Do you setup and breakdown furniture rentals?

All furniture is priced with the assumption that it will be dropped off, stacked, and folded – and it must be broken down and stacked prior to our arrival for pick-up. Furniture set-up and break-down is available for an additional fee.

Can you install a tent over pavement?

Yes. We can stake through pavement or asphalt and patch the holes at the time of removal (additional fee applies). We can also use a frame style tent with weights to avoid staking through the pavement.

When will you deliver and/or install my rental items?

For a weekend event, we typically set up Thursday or Friday, and remove Monday or Tuesday. We schedule a 2 hour block of time for arrival. During busy time periods we require additional days for setup and removal. We can install after hours or on the weekend for an overtime fee.

Can you install a tent in the winter?

Yes. Typically, a frame tent is used for winter installations. We require that the area and access to the area be free and clear of any snow or ice prior to our arrival for setup and removal. We try to install, remove and coordinate around the weather. Snow cannot accumulate on tent tops and must be cleared and maintained during any storms. Heaters are also available.

Do you require a deposit to confirm the order?

Yes, we require a 50% down payment to reserve any equipment and confirm your order. The balance is due by the time of delivery or can be charged to your credit card on file.

Will I be charged extra for additional days of rental?

Our rental prices are based on a one week rental period, with one weekend only. If your rental extends into a second week or second weekend, it is considered a two week rental and additional rental fees will apply for the additional week rentals.

Do your prices include set-up and break-down?

Labor is included on most items, such as tents, flooring, lights, staging and dance floor. Smaller items like furniture, do not include set-up or break-down. Delivery fees may apply to certain areas.
